Structure

Commercial structure.

Nexus Associates Australia holds no reseller margins, no vendor accreditations, no implementation arm and no products of its own. No one in the firm carries a sales or partner target. Revenue consists of fees for advice and senior delivery.

In practice this means: platform evaluations are scored on client requirements; commercial negotiations are conducted from the client's side of the table; and recommendations to defer, stop or use an existing platform carry no revenue consequence for the firm.

Limits of the model: the firm does not staff large implementation teams, so programmes above its delivery capacity run with partners selected, structured and assured by the firm. The firm accepts a limited number of concurrent engagements and states when it is at capacity.
